Another one from the R&B book. I think the rhythm part was almost harder than the lead - you're bouncing between a single string and a chord and it's easy to get sloppy with it (which it does in a spot or two but hopefully it's hidden under the lead well enough nobody will notice lol.) The lead wasn't really all that hard, but getting a good take with no major eff ups took a whole week. Let me know what you think - constructive criticism / nitpicking is encouraged

Wow, Jack, you just keep knocking 'em out, man. If there's some flubs in there, you'd really have to probably have all the parts separated to hear them. Your entire video production has really become very good, too. I like the photo intros you've added on. I think you've also made really good strides in getting your audio mixes to sound really good - the whole band sounds really "tight" together, but all the parts are audible in your mix. Great clean guitar tones. Another nice job all around.

I also thought that was great, Jack. You had a excellent groove and rhythm, and I certainly didn't spot any flubs.

Thanks guys, glad you liked it! This was kind of a tough one to get all the instruments in a nice groove with each other - I recorded the lead guitar while listening to the drums and bass, and then did the rhythm guitar afterwards keeping it (somewhat) in sync with the lead. Kind of a weird way of doing it but it seemed to work for this song. I always have fun choosing those pictures for the intro, I go searching the net for whatever seems to reflect the mood of the song. This video was a bit sloppy - the lead guitar is zoomed in closer than the other two, there's no transition between the picture and the lead, though there is with the bass and rhythm guitar, and the bass video is slightly out of sync with the audio. Oh and I forgot to fade it out at the end lol. Oh well, I'll try to tidy the next one up a little neater

Well, as usual, that was very nicely played. You do those position changes very smoothly and accurately. However, I think a dress shirt and tie would greatly improve your overall image, if not your performance. On a totally unrelated note - have you ever considered getting a music stand. I bought one about a year ago and I can't tell you how much easier it makes things. You'd be surprised what a difference it makes when your not hunched over a table looking down at the music.

Thanks Phil! I've tried talking to the guys about their attire before but...well let's just say that's a long-term project That's an interesting idea about the music stand. I sit right in front of my desk and I've got a book stand around here someplace, I should really try it out. It would put the whole book the same distance from my face, which would put it in better focus considering I'm getting more blind by the day lol. My back is not at all fond of the hunching over thing either.

+1 on the music stand - I was showing mine off in the Delta Mood debacle/video - very handy to have

Crap another thing to add to the wish list, my back could use some relief plus maybe get the book close enough to see.
Excellent rendition of that tune, love the 57 Chevy at the beginning. How to you work out the bass parts?
