Well I have been messing around for awhile with this Rhythm progression not spot on but I think close enough to move to another lesson. I have to comment that I feel the Rhythm Lessons are really helping my playing, I can tell my hand strength has improved because when I started my hand cramped after like 5 minutes of playing this progression. Anyway here it is for you commentaries. soundcloud.com/alabama-blues/simple-7th-chordThanks, Rich

Great job overall, Rich! You had a really good feel for the song and your timing was mostly spot on, and in the places where it wasn't it still sounded good.
I am glad to hear more from the rhythm book - it's such a cool book... Keep 'em coming!

Thanks for the feedback not surprised about the timing been fighting with my guitar tonight, I got a cable or something acting up and keep loosing signal kind of distracting. I have been reviewing the other rhythms as well, I have found I kinda like playing rythm just need to get my timing better, chord changes are getting cleaner over all I think it's definitely a positive for my overall playing.

Rich,
I'm also glad to hear some BRYCU stuff. I agree with you that going thru these rhythm exercises will really improve your ear and your "feel" for 12 bar blues progressions - and you're right some of those are a real left hand workout! I ought to go back thru that book, sometime in all my free guitar playing time! Definitely keep 'em coming.

Rich - another nice recording. I love checking in here each day and listening to what everyone else has been working on. Right after this one ended, it automatically started your More Minor Blues Review recording so I listened to that one again as well. The first time, I was listening from my MacBook with just the internal speakers. Tonight I had it through my external monitors and I could really tell a difference in the final mixing work that you did. Wow, that sounded really awesome!

Really nice job on that Rich, your timing is definitely improving. Most of that was not only right on the money, but right in the groove too. You got the lead-in part down as well. About the only part you played differently than the CD was that bit at the end of bar 3 / beginning of bar 4 which gets repeated at the end of bar 7 / beginning of bar 8. Your guitar sound was really nice and kind of unique as well. So you eventually got used to playing this? My left hand would always be in agony no matter how much I practiced it
