Well here is my review of More Minor Blues probably could be better, but I think its pretty good. First 12 bars are from the tab then I improvised the last 12 bars only second time I have actually tried to improve something. I used a couple of licks from he Blues licks you can use book and a couple from the internet and some of my own, kinda a hybrid not sure could actually duplicate it exactly but I did rehearse through the progressions roughly. Enjoy and be gentile I already noted the bends being a little flat. Rich soundcloud.com/alabama-blues/more-minor-blues-review

I liked that Rich, very cool! Fit the mood of the song perfectly. Nice note choice and phrasing. And your guitar sound is absolutely smolderin'!

Thanks for the positive feedback I was pretty nervous. I watched some videos on mastering this week so I tried applying some of what I learned.
The web site was called therecordingrevolution.com lots of tips, there was a series on using $300 worth of equipment to record a song, lots of tips on using the built in tools. Anyway I spent a little extra time mastering the track to try and bring out the song.

Rich, I do believe that that is the best thing you've posted so far. Great playing, especially your improvised part. And the tone was fabulous. It's going to be hard for the rest of us to top that.

Phil I really appreciate the positive comments, that was recorded with my carvin with the pearly gates. I really planned on the Gibson but I put it in its case Friday before the cleaning lady came and just grabbed the carvin.
Anyway I did quite a lot of post processing to get the tone to where I wanted it. I doubled the raw track and then used the secondary to add some delay and tremolo effects backed down the volum and used some EQ to adjust the tone. Oh and one track planed left and one right to try and thicken the sound. On the master track tweaked the eq used a limiter to reduce the top end and compression to bring up the volum a bit. Lots of stuff I learned in some tutorials. The tutorial put a lot of importance on getting the balance right in the mix, and use the master to bring it over the top. Anyway I must have learned something.

Nice job, Rich! Enjoyed your improv part. Seemed like you got a little off the timing at the end of the first chorus, but jumped right back onto it. That's a good skill to have!

Rich - that was really cool. I dig it. I haven't gotten to that lesson yet, but I'm sure that when I do, I'll have your version sounding in my head. Nice job.
