Another one from the R&B book. I found the lead really difficult to play for some reason; no matter how many takes I did I'd miss one or five notes, forget where I was in the song, or something or other. Anyhow, the timing could be a LOT better and I nail an open string at the end, but oh well it's time to move on to the next song I think.

Nice job on that one, Jack! I don't know the song, but it definitely sounds like it's to move on - I couldn't find anything to nitpick.
I like the R&B book alot so far - and definitely a challenge. I just listened to your rendition of "Raking in the soul", which I just started on - great playing there also. That one is going to take me a while to get comfortable with...

Nicely done, as usual, Jack. Even with your forewarning, I couldn't pick out the clunker at the end. I thought it had a smooth, soulful kind of vibe. I do like the sound of the R&BYCU book, and of course I have a copy, but I just really don't have the time to go there. Keep 'em coming, Jack.

Nicely played, Jack. Not only are you becoming a better guitarist, but your video production skills are getting better with those fancy title scenes and all.

You're a tough act to follow Jack!! You did a really nice job on that. I ran it through three times and still didn't notice any "cock ups" except your lead guitarist picked his nose right at the end of the song . EDIT: everyone will go and have another look now and you will get more views

Thanks so much guys, I guess it wasn't as bad as I thought! That's another thing that's great about this place, you let me know when I'm being too hyper-critical of myself Joachim, yeah this book is awesome, so many great songs in it. Rakin' was quite a challenge, but a manageable one. Bruce, thanks! Glad you liked it. Phil, that picture at the beginning is one my cousin took of the lake here in town, in Minnesota - I just moved it 1,000 miles East Tbone, thanks! Mick - I was waiting through the whole song to get in there and do some digging! No, no - that was an itchy chin, I swear!
