Hi Folks!, This is my first post! . Here's a couple of ideas I had based on following the chords in a 1-4-5 progression (These ideas came from John's excellent Rhythm and Blues book ) soundcloud.com/mikeyaberry

Welcome to the forum, Mike - that was great! You are certainly much more accomplished than I am - have you been playing for long?

Thanks a lot Joachim, I really appreciate you’re feedback!
I’ve actually been playing off and on for about 20years but never made to playing live, very much a bedroom guitarist.
Thanks Mike

Mike that was good, and you definitely fit our group profile playing on and off for awhile, but as Joachim points you are very accomplished more than myself as well. So I think you were more on than off, great job. Nice to have some members here as well helps keep everyone stoked up.

Another welcome, mike! Enjoyed your recording. Bedroom guitarists who have played off and on for years - sounds frightening familiar to me Bruce

Welcome to the forum, Mike. Nice playing. Have you been backing up Van Morrison in your spare time? Hope to hear more from you.

Hi Guys,
Thanks a mil for all the nice comments!
Phil - I wish! I've actually been doing a bit of jamming with Eagles songs, in particular:
Learn to be still: Tequila Sunrise: I can't tell you why:
But all my ideas in these jams as well as the loops, I posted, are based on information gained from John's Rhythm & Blues book!
Thanks Mike

Hi Mike and welcome to the board! It's great to have some new members here. Love your playing, very expressive and all three songs have a definite mood to them. And very well played too!
