I got down a recording of lesson #20 "Rockin' Blues for Jimi" that I think is good enough to move on: soundcloud.com/joachim-dahl-1/brycu-lesson-20The last part of BRYCU is just a blast - in fact I think all of BRYCU has been. Last lesson is a tough cookie - I really think Bruce did an excellent job on that one! The amp modeling is my new discounted version of GTR3 - the sound is pretty good, I think.

Nicely played, Joachim! I'm anxious to hear that Dominant Rhythm in G next! You've really torn it up with this book. One more to go! Bruce

That was nicely played, nice tone. I keep playing around with the Brycu book but never really get rolling on it, I need to get to it.

Wow Joachim what a face melter! That tone on the lead is deadly too. Thanks Mike! In the rhythm book "Blues Rhythms You Can Use" the backing tracks include lead played by John Ganapes, and I agree it's some killer guitar he is playin there - that's probably beyond what I can hope to learn as a bed-room guitarist Welcome to the forum - it's great with some fresh blood here! Don't be put off by a few difficult studies - they always come around if you work on them daily. And if you get completely frustrated and cannot bear to work on a particular study anymore, then make a recording as work-in-progress and post it anyway. That will clear your mind, and it probably won't be as bad as you think it is...
