Well I think this is pretty rough still having trouble keeping in time but thought it would be cool to post a work in progress as a diversion. soundcloud.com/alabama-blues/hard-edge-blues-v1Enjoy as I am waiting on some colorful feedback. Recorded with the new Gibson using amplitude, still working out recording into a mic.

Rich,
timing is off in places, but it's not an easy song. About the sound - wow - it's amazing! That's the blues sound I've been after myself...
It's great you post work-in-progress! Looking forward to the next version...

It is something, I got all the notes but not feeling it when I track it, will be working on getting it cleaned up. I have been playing a lot this week and my hands feel kinda tight.

Hey Rich, I know you've got a way to go with this yet but the potential is there for an awesome sounding track.

Rich, yeah the timing needs work but the guitar sound is gorgeous! I'm confident that with the help of that fabulous instrument you'll have this one down in no time Now I've got to contemplate selling my Chevy to buy one of those Indigo Blue sex machines

Thanks T I practiced it today just with the backing track for over an hour, seems like my time is fluctuating. I will probably dig up someone's post and listen to it to nail down some reference points on the transitions, my normal method isn't working or it is and my ears are off. Any I appreciate the positive feedback, I am still getting acquainted with the axe also, I keep catch the edge of one of the frets.

Somehow I missed this one in addition to Joachim's upload. Yeah, that tone is great. Was that miked? The timing...ah...well...the other guys summed it up already.

No I recorded it through the daw, will attempt to mic it next round cause it sounds much better through the jr. I didn't spend a lot of time on it the timing was good with the practice track, so I think maybe they aren't exact in sync on this song. I think I am about 2 beats to slow on this one.

I could have sworn that that was miked. Really nice tone.
