I made a recording of the "Triplet Stormy Rhythm" in BRYCU. soundcloud.com/joachim-dahl-1/brycu-lesson-16A few notes are cut short, but overall I am happy with it - when I started that lesson it seemed insurmountable, but once I got a hang of the rhythm it wasn't that difficult. It's a lovely tune - I really dig the secondary chords like in T-Bone Walker's songs - and I think my new Ibanez is perfect for it. Now it's time to rush onwards - I am being squeezed from both sides with Mick and Jack right behind, and with Bruce working his way backwards through BRYCU!

Beautiful song and beautiful playing Joachim! Excellent timing. You're inspiring me to get working on my next rhythm lesson now

Sounding very good, Joachim. It's funny how "insurmountable" some of these seem when you first take them on, but after you play with them for a while, well, they just kind of flow. That one sounds so cool, I may have to do another rhythm recording, too!

Great playing, Joachim. Nice jazzy tone. I love this chord progression with that walk up and down using minor 7ths. Ironically, T-Bone himself played "Stormy Monday" as a straight 12-Bar blues, and didn't use this progression. Clapton, Albert King and others also play it as a regular 12-Bar. IMHO, the Allman Brothers play the definite version. They use a progression similar to the one you are playing.
Once again, nice playing. It's hard to believe that you only started playing guitar a little over a year ago.
