In an effort to produce more recordings for the forum, I taught my 9 year old boy Andreas to play "Texas Rock":
It's my first attempt at a video, and sound isn't that great; next time I will record audio via Focusrite. The elbow and coffee mug showing in the right corner are mine...
I urge you to do the same - and if you don't have kids, then teach your neighbors the blues...

I think he played that better than I did first round. Good job. My son is a drummer but plays punk and metal.

That's awesome Joachim! Better watch out though, next thing you know you'll be having to borrow your new Ibanez back from him

Very good. He'll be a great guitarist some day.

Thanks T-Bone I will mention that group to him, just me where I have been with this kid nothing that follows can, will, or be worse than what we have gone through the last year and a half. However, he has talent as a drummer plus I think it helps him with his anger issues.

It's really good to hear someone playing the first song in BYCU - it brings back fond memories and reminds me of when I started and how far down the book-road I have travelled.
I remember when I first got the book I listened to the whole CD and dreamed of one day playing all the tracks... I'm now a couple of tracks shy of finishing the book!!!
I encourage your boy to keep going!
