To me, looks like a standard 12 bar blues in E, with a G7 substituted where you'd normally expect a B7 in the 9th measure. The last 8 bars on the page don't fill an entire 12 bar pattern, but follow the 1-4 and then the 9-12 bars of a typical 12 bar blues. There's plenty of variations out there if you get to looking at blues songbooks.

I'd say it's a rock tune based, somewhat loosely, on a blues progression. The G7 to A7 is what makes me think that. In fact, if they weren't 7th chords, I'd just call it a rock tune.
