I made a recording og BRUCY #12 "G Minor Blues" - for once I am not going to moan and whine, I am actually pretty happy with it soundcloud.com/joachim-dahl-1/brycu-lesson-12It's recorded on Fender Classic Player 60's Strat that I traded with my Epiphone Riviera. After I put new pickups in my Les Paul, I found myself not playing the Riviera anymore, and someone wanted to trade a Classic Player Strat to a semihollowbody... I am absolutely in love with the strat - it's is so easy to play. Some people complain about a chunky neck on that model, but I think it's perfect, and not nearly as bulky as the neck on the Riviera.

Nicely played! Makes we wanna join the session! Did someone ever record just the rhythm parts? Those are great jam tracks, albeit a little short... That's a great idea. Obviously, if someone here makes it into a backing track it can be as long as they want it. I don't have a decently drum machine (nor do I know how to use one if I did ). Jack did some nice backing tracks for MBYCU with just bass and drums, but it is time consuming. Maybe some of the folks here could collaborate on something like this.

Nice playing, Joachim. Your timing is right on, and it fits right in like it was part of the original recording. I need to start working on this book.

Really nice job on that Joachim, you've got it right in the groove and that great guitar sound makes it seem like it was part of the original recording. And congrat's on the new Strat! I like a nice thick neck too - guys like us are probably the reason Fender makes them that way

I don't think it takes long to make backing tracks based on BRYCU if you settle for BIAB drums and bass.

You know I keep seeing some option in my garageband app to join online live session but not sure what it is, might be a way to play live with other musicians.

Thanks tbone. The garageband function is for recording live on same network with up to four inputs. Will check it out.

Joachim,
Your rhythm playing is coming along nicely. Love your clean strat tone, too. Nice job.
