You don't have to have played it, just listened to the CD. I think my favorite is Minor Blues, I've always loved the sad emotions songs like that bring out. And coming from a rock / metal background, a solo like that would be perfectly at home in a rock song. Just add a bit more distortion

Hey Tbone! Yeah I think Delta Child would be right up there for me too. Love that song.

I had to think about this for a while. There are so many studies in BYCU that I like in such a variety of of styles.
"Minor Blues" is certainly up high on my list. In fact, when I got BYCU I listened to the studies, decided that the 1st few would be too easy for me, and jumped directly to "Minor Blues" because I liked it so much and it seemed to be within my reach. Needless to say, I soon saw the error of my ways and went back and re-started BYCU from the beginning.
Having been through all of the studies, I'd have to say that "All Forms Blues" is my personal favorite. From one perspective I just like it as a tune. It's well put together. From a "You Can Use" perspective, it is filled with useful phrases - phrases that can be used as fills, wonderful licks using bends, it shows you how to use the 5 pentatonic "boxes" and has a very useful tag ending that I can't get enough of. I play that ending pretty regularly as part of my warm up. If I were ever to be in a band, and that band played "Stormy Monday" I would use the AFB tag ending on it.

Honestly I have listened to all of the songs, so far though I like bends slides and shifts.
