Well, I finally named my guitar, allow me to introduce PalomaSomething I've wanted to do for a while - but to really customise her, I got a custom made neck plate. I designed the image and had it engraved by lazrart.com for a very reasonable price (I chose the chrome neck plate). Their lazer engraving was brilliant! (Guitar neck plates are here www.lazrart.com/guitar_plates.htm ) She's now one of a kind Check the images, see what you think. Comments welcome!

Una a Paloma Negraaaaaaaaaaaaa. Sorry, I got to thinking about Slim Whitman for some reason. Very cool way to individualize your guitar. A custom neck plate - I didn't know such things were available. I actually might look into that. I often call my guitar "You F*#%@ing piece of shit" when it won't play what I want it to. I don't think that would look good on a neck plate however.

You just need to remember to release the tension on the strings so the tremolo bridge can rest flatly against the body before you unscrew the neck plate to replace it. Otherwise you'll be fighting it Very nice name, nice neck plate and gorgeous Strat! Thanks. I think my wife thought I was mad doing it, but I feel the guitar is more than a factory built thing now. It's unique in some way... in my mind at least
