Well here it is a lot a work and I am still not completely happy but I thought I would post it and get some feedback. Most of the bends are ok, but still needs more bending to pitch practice. Anyway I think its good enough to move to the next lesson. soundcloud.com/alabama-blues/bending-the-blues-v1Rich

Not bad, Rich. This is tough study. One full bend after another. Overall, it was pretty good and I would definitely move on. You know which bends need more work, so I won't point them out. The next study has a lot of bends, but they are more spaced out which gives you some time to recuperate.
Keep up the good work and keep posting those recordings.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I am going to keep practicing the bending with the tuner as part of my regular practice. I think the biggest improvement for me has been timing. Well I will move on and keep this one on the practice list.

I agree with Phil, a few of the bends were off but for the most part excellent job. Timing is spot-on through most of it too. You'll get ample opportunity to work on bending to pitch throughout the remainder of the book so don't worry too much about continuing to practice this one until it's perfect I liked the lead guitar panned hard left and right too, sounded psychedelic lol.

Rich,
What I'd like to point out to you is the great amount of progress you've made over the past few months. This absolutely blows the socks off of some of your earlier recordings. Nice job! Yeah, take a few doses of BTPB, and keep working on 'em. Plenty of bending practice coming your way in the next few lessons.

Thanks Bruce for the great words of support, I listened to the recording again and I am not happy with the sound it didn't sound that way when I played it back through garageband I think the master track is affecting the final version sometimes.
I did start on the next lesson and got almost the first 4 bars down. I was talking to a professional guitarist last night and he said bending to pitch is one of the hardest skills to learn.

Can I get an Eric Clapton emulator that will make my playing sound like his?
