So, while I'm working on bigger pieces I thought I'd continue my venture in smaller pieces. Nice simple piece that was more about timing than anything else for me - plenty of empty space. For added fun, the backing track was just a simple single guitar rhythm, so I did the best I could to work out what I thought it was doing, added an opening turnaround intro and recorded that on another guitar; so got two workouts from one track Lead wise, the tone is the same except a transparent drive pedal was used for better sustain and gain. With this series I have also tried to put more natural feeling into my playing, so I may hold/vibrato notes where the sheetmusic doesn't say so. I may also slide in/out as I see fit. For added fun I added a little ending riff on lead that I arranged to end with a final strum on rhythm guitar. Both were one-take wonders, which made it quick to put together...

A very nice little piece WPB! Timing sounds right on and I think you did a great job being more expressive in your playing.
