An "ok" week for me... Managed to get BRYCU - High Nines In D recorded with a new chorus pedal, so that was fun (see the related post). Still struggling with TRG - Rockabillity and BYCU - Delta Child, mainly because they have such repeating parts that I'm struggling to get those in my head in the right order. I kinda know the sections, but can't get them in the right order at full tempo, so just need to plug on with them. Music reading was a fail this week - I know it's a minor part of my focus... but I didn't intend for it to be a zero So, BRYCU - Sixes And Nines this week along with the two mentioned above - and hopefully some reading too!

WPB, great job on those two rhythm studies and that Blues Guitar Unleashed number was just fantastic (really just a thinly veiled version of Sweet Home Chicago, to me). You're obviously putting in some serious time, and it shows! Really good stuff!
I'm missing my music stuff, but spending a good amount of time golfing (the league I'm in plays 3 days a week, and then I try to get in some practice as well). I feel like I'm improving, but scores don't show it! Maybe I can post some video of me slicing my driver into the trees...

Okay week for me, still slogging away at the same ol' "Going to California." It's fairly fast as far as the fingerpicking, but needs to sound very relaxed. Also of course each note needs to be played with the proper volume, which is really what gives the song its sound. I'm "getting there" lol. Did some preliminary recordings and other than my constant mistakes, it's not all that terrible. Bruce you sound like me several years ago when I used to be really into golf It truly is the most frustrating game ever invented lol.
