Been a while since I instigated the weekly check-in.
My routine has been pretty consistent ovr the last several weeks. Been revisiting some things that have been in the hopper for a considerable length of time--namely the intro theme of electric Gypsy, smoothing out Limelight, messin with Blue on Black, and a few others from my lost youth. I've also been playing around with chord changes while varying what my right hand is doing--different strum patters, different arpeggio patterns, and mostly combining strums and arpeggiated bits.
Seems like the only improvement I've sensed in the last year or so is having a little more control and accuracy with my RH. Not a lot of improvement to be sure, but given how much trouble I've had with it over the years/decades, it pretty nice to see some positive change this late in the game.

I had an okay week despite being absurdly busy. Got a preliminary recording of the "Shine" solo done, but it will probably need to be redone 100 times Got the first verse of the song recorded - finally got the timing about right. Now just need to do everything else lol. Hope you guys are all doing well

Thanks for being such an instigator, Grampa.
I'm still doing the same thing I mentioned for the past couple of weeks - scales and arpeggios over the chord changes to a particular song. A few days ago I started making short musical phrases from these scales and arpeggios. The end goal of this torture is to be able to improvise at a basic level. I've never been particularly interested in improvising, but for whatever reason I'm suddenly interested now. I can't explain why. You may be surprised to hear that I'm getting all this from a Jazz piano teacher on YouTube whose specialty is teaching improvisation. Obviously, the focus is on music and not on guitar technique. Don't know if I'll ever be able to really improvise, but it will definitely help me compose solos.
And now for something totally unrelated: My son went to play a free gig last Sunday. He plays a Godin Multiac Grand Duet which is a nylon string electric with some kind of microphone pickup and pre-amp that requires a battery. Anyway, they plugged his guitar directly into the house PA system with an XLR cable and sent phantom power to his guitar which apparently fried the guitar's electronics. He now has a $1500 piece of wood unless he wants to spend $500 to $600 to fix it.

I finally got my new guitar room set up, and actually played some this week! I played "stretch" rhythm for about 20 minutes, and my left hand was sore for the rest of the week. I have not actually tried to record any audio, and I don't have any video capability set up yet, but it's great to have a permanent setup of some sort again. My goal for this week will be to try to set up my video camera, and to try to actually make a simple recording! I think my old video lights are still in our storage unit.

still working on some soloing ideas for Autumn Leaves. I haven't made much progress, but I like the feeling of having more purpose with my practice now that I am a band (of sorts).
