Alright - this is my best playing and mixing to date! I play everything except drums - and this track will show you as much. The standard shuffle rhythm is what was provided by the CD - but I recorded my own version of how it was played. The Solo lead guitar is the Solo 4 example in the book - everything else is what I created. The drums were done with free software called "Hydrogen"; second rhythm guitar part I created myself; bass part is what i came up with (I have no idea how bass should be played). Mixing wise, there's a bucket load of compression, EQ and reverbs as well as some panning. Think the overall balance is good and each of the parts can be heard - I find watching myself playing a part in the video really helps me to "hear" that specific part See what you think...

Nicely played, WPB. Your parts all fit together well. Cool idea, putting a second rhythm guitar part on it, as well as a bass part (played on the guitar, and I'm assuming pitch shifted).

Very nice WPB, you're becoming an arranger as well as a player! Only thing I would mention is that the guitar in the top left is playing the main solo, but the sound is coming out of the right speaker - as a listener / viewer I'm trying to match what I'm seeing with what I'm hearing, so it makes it a little confusing. But hey, just a tiny nitpick lol. Great job!

Nice playing and arranging, WPB.
Jack, I couldn't figure out what you were talking about until I remembered that I wear my headphones reversed (left headphone on right ear). I do this because I want the cord coming off the right side of headphone when I play guitar. Yeah, it's a small nitpick but it can be disorienting to see the sound source on left and hear it on the right.

I just noticed because I was listening to it on my speakers instead of the headphones.
