Hi
I have a question re. the study, "More Minor Blues" at page 57 of BYCU.
In the first bar, it shows an Am7 chord, but the G at the 5th fret of the 4th string is replaced by and A at the 7th fret.
Could someone please tell why that is the case?
Many thanks
Arny

Welcome to the forum, Arny. There are mistakes in this book as there are in almost every music book, but I don't think this is a mistake. The chord symbols Am7, Dm7, etc. are what the rhythm guitar or keyboard player would play in that bar. The lead guitar is simply playing the triad (A C E) over the rhythm guitar's Am7 (A C E G). You (lead guitar) could also play an Am7 on beats 3 and 4 and it would sound fine.
