I had a pretty good week working on "Diary of a Madman." I'd say it's about half done. Most of it is triple-tracked; an acoustic in the center and two clean electrics panned left and right. It gives it a spooky, dreamy quality befitting a diary of a madman. At least it did when Randy played it - I'm just happy if I can get all the tracks in sync with each other The last lick in the solo is a fast ascending thing up through box 1 of the pentatonic minor, and I'm still working on getting it up to speed. Another week of practice should do it...and I've been saying that for the last two weeks lol. The "fixit" session is on the 29th so I'll hopefully have it "completed" by then, get some feedback and work on whatever shortcomings Griff points out. It's a special song to me as it's the first thing I ever learned, and still a huge favorite of mine, so I'd like to do the best job on it I can. Hope you guys are all doing well!

I had a good week - practising every day. Got BYCU - Double Stop Stomp (REDUX) recorded and posted. I'm working on a slightly bigger project, which may or may not get recorded, but it's still fun to play on guitar.
ActiveMelody piece has been a bit slow and I'll need to focus some time on it this week as well as the next BYCU piece!

Another "goose egg" here . This is beginning to sound like a broken record... There is just so much stuff to do in the summertime.

I picked up the guitar at least once every day for the week which is a decent start back. This week I'm going to bring back enough organization that I can fairly call it practice. So far my hand is stiff as all get out but nothing is responding to a bit of stretching out with soreness yet.
