I humbly submit my version of "Delta Mood" for the monthly study review. I swampified it a bit. Delta Mood (Swampified) Today is the deadline so where are the rest of the submissions? Come on guys this ain't gonna work if we don't get more participation. This kind of thing will help you become a better guitar player. (OK, so it hasn't helped me that much, but you know what I mean. )

Excellent interpretation, you guys are making me not want to post my standard version. I will post my standard version tomorrow I didn't realize we we at the deadline day and I am 2 guns, 2 beers and 2 red wines and 2 minutes from crashing. Anyway excellent job.

Man, Phil, you took that one to the swamp and jumped in with it. Better watch for gators! That was cool - you used Delta Mood as kind of a frame and jumping off point to put in some other licks. Nicely done. I'm hopin' to find some recording time tomorrow, so hopefully I can post one this time. That was a fun listen!

I freakin' loved it Phil! Loved the tremolo, loved the mood and the feel, that was just cool as hell I really like hearing your style come out more and more with each of your original compositions - I'm afraid I'm not terribly familiar with the various blues styles but it's like Chicago blues with a bit of Dixieland something, and in parts it takes me waaaayyy back in the bayou. Only problem is I don't seem to be getting the video here? I'm almost certain you talked about having three camera angles

Really cool Tbone, you captured that Delta Mood superbly! If I didn't already have a book on slide guitar coming I'd for sure have to order one after hearing you play that!

Top job T Bone I have been messing around with a slide in open E mostly cause I am too lazy to retune and tried like crazy to get a solo part in my Delta Mood but failed. Had that down home sound for sure.

T-Bone, We have to change your name to Mississippi Fred McDowell. You really put the delta into Delta Mood. Nice job.

If you asked me to play this in front of you I would freeze and not be able to play anything. This was like the 30th take. Post the standard version from the book in perfect time, and you'll be way ahead of a lot of many others struggling to learn to play the guitar.

T-Bone and Phil - those were excellent. Each very unique and well played, I dig 'em both! I love that raw sounding slide playing, man that sounds like something straight off the porch on the Delta, played about 80 years ago! Great stuff!
