Another good practice this afternoon on the Lead portion of this track and I decided to try and record it - and got it on the first take!!!Ok, so this recording has 4 tracks that I tried to compile. They are as follows: - Drum track - created with software (http://www.hydrogen-music.org) I don't know much about drums or rhythms, but felt it was ok
- Rhythm Guitar - me on the strat playing the rhythm part of the study, with added reverb in post-processing
- Lead Guitar - me on the strat playing the lead part of the study, recorded with amp settings and no post-processing
- Bass line - me on the strat playing a terribly simple made-up line, post-processing equalizer used to make it sound more like a bass
It's the first time I have put so much effort into a single piece - so, see what you think... soundcloud.com/wannalearnguitar/rabycu-easy-rhythmComments and suggestions always welcome!

Sounding pretty good there, WPB. Regarding the bass - your DAW should have some kind of a pitch shifting plug-in. If you have one, drop the pitch of the guitar 1 octave. That combined with EQ low pass/high cut filter will make it sound even more like a bass. That what I did on "Sweet Home" and it doesn't sound too terribly bad.

Good work WPB, straight into a new book. The next song "lost love" is a really beautiful song to learn and play, I think it's supposed to be a sad song but I loved it anyway.

Sounding really nice there WPB! I hope you enjoy the R&B book as much as I have been, there are some truly wonderful songs in there and tons of great info on songwriting.

Nicely done, Wannaplay. Good to see you"re not resting on your laurels, having just completed BYCU. I like that RBYCU book, just haven't found the time to try any of it myself.
