Congrats, Mick. Beautiful setup! I don't remember the Gibson from your videos - is that a new one? The Gibson is the one in my avatar pic, had it a couple of years now, there are a few vids of me using it but it usually lives in its case so does not get used as much as my strat and tele.

Thanks Jack, yes the IRT is a recent aquisition also, I got that because of its small wattage and ability to usb record etc but it still didn't fill the need for a small watt combo I really must stop gassing and get practicing more

Can you elaborate on the reasons for this? I'm just curious because I have a Strat, albeit a Squier, but never-the-less it's still a Strat, and I'm thinking about Gibson/Epihone.

Hi Phil, yes I can, the Gibson is a custom shop Alex Lifeson signature model that here in the UK is a very expensive guitar so it basically lives in its case inside a cupboard and I daren't leave it on a guitar stand with my greyhound about, I care for all my guitars but I do usually have at least one to hand for easy practice, perhaps I need some wall hangers. As expected the LP is a very special guitar both sonically and for playability and feel but for everyday practice I do like my strat and tele, they just feel "right". I do have a USA Gibson silverburst LP studio which is about 5 years old which probably cost about the same as an American standard strat, sonically its not far behind the custom shop, mainly because the pups they installed in this model are the same as custom shop silverburst , but I never really bonded with it and will probably PX it at some stage, and to be truthful the feel and playability for me is just nowhere near my USA strat, or even the Indonesian tele. BTW I didn't intend to buy the AL LP, I originally wanted a LP axcess model which was a little bit cheaper but the dealer did me a deal I just couldn't refuse. As you know, two people could try out the same guitar, and one love and one hate it. A friend of mine who is also guitar mad insists his USA Les Paul standard is the best guitar he has ever owned or played. I had an Epiphone SG for a while, again it played and sounded great to me but the neck was so unstable and I was tuning it every 5 minutes playing so that had to go also.
