What blues fanatic doesn't love slide guitar?!? When I heard Duane Allman's intro of Statesboro Blues and Trouble No More, I was stricken and smitten.
Here are 2 videos of a player that is vastly overlooked - David Lindley. Lindley primarily plays lap steel guitar but you would never know to just listen to him. He played in Jackson Browne's band for many years as well as having his own group. The 1st song is Redneck Friend, released in 1973.
