Wow, Phil, I think he's pretty much got it covered in there somewhere. Can't wait to see what happens when he gets all growed up!

Love the kid's style. He just needs to turn the level on his distortion pedal up a little higher

Damn he does play well, not sure if that's a 335 he picks up but he makes it look like 339.

Look's like he's grown up some. I was wow'd by this song, looks like some of you may have been watching him for a while. I'm late to the kingfissh party.

I first heard him about 2 years ago, playing gospel music iirc. Didn't realize he performed straight-up blues. Seeing prodigies makes me want to smash all my guitars and put them next to the fireplace to burn next Christmas eve. Even worse he's one of those guys who can tune his guitar while he's playing. And he sings pretty well too.

I also find it interesting about 'prodigies' is they have to grow up. It seems most people are excited to see young kids play when they are young but when they are older loose interest. I remember Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Johnny Lang, and Joe Bonamossa were all 'prodigies' in the 90's and other than Joe you don't hear about the others very much. I'm sure they are all putting out records and touring.

That's a wise guiding tenet, and one that I try to hold to. It's just every once in a while something reminds there's also an absolute scale, and I'm pretty much in the same spot on it I've always been. With that realization it's then time to banish the thought and get back to it.
