I'm headed out today to pickup a Jet City JCA20H head and 2x12 cab today or tomorrow. I was torn between this and a Bugera 22. Got a good deal on the 1/2 stack on craigslist. I'm probably. From what i see online this is excactly what i want a more Marshall kind of sound over the marshall sound. From what i see there quite a few 'mods' that can be done and it takes diffrent tubes and pedals well.

Cool hope it works out. My jr got her Christmas eve. I think I made the correct choice, it sound excellent with my Carvin with pearlygates in it. Pretty small and light, just what I wanted. I have a vintage Bassman with a 2 x12 stack thing is big and loud. I was looking for something I could move around the house easily, wish it had 2 channels though.

I really liked the way that Lainey sounds, plus an fx loop. I was looking into the bugeras also but really wanted a Fender so bought the Blues Jr. NOS great tone pretty lite and 15 watts. Just wished it had an FX loop and clean channel, no big deal though I just got to learn how to mic the damn thing without hearing my neighbor picking his nose.

Out of all the amps u mentioned the Princeton is by far the best sounding amp IMO. It has one of the best tremolo and reverb I have heard. If you need FX loop, separate channels, and a fender BF clean sound look into any of the Mesa Express series amps. They are fairly cheap on the used market and sound killer, It has a great master volume on both channels and the crunch is absolutely stellar. Good luck with your amp search.

MJ thanks for your input I bought a blues jr nos in the end and am very happy with it, I liked the Princton but I wanted a pre and main volume controls. Plus it is lighter serves its purpose well. I have to move my equipment to the basement on Fridays so light amp was key also.
Btw welcome to the forum.
