I'm just getting started with the book " Blues You Can Use " working on lesson 1. I noticed on the website that there are several titles in this series. Is there a preferred order to work through this series? Thanks for suggestions.

The order can vary some. You should definitely begin with Blues You Can Use. That gives you a basis to move on to the other books.
After BYCU, you can start on More Blues You Can Use or Blues Rhythms You Can Use (rhythm guitar). You can even move right to Jazzin' the Blues (if you want to move into jazz without exploring the blues more), though I think it's better to work through More BYCU first.
There is also the latest book: Rhythm & Blues You Can Use, which would best follow More BYCU. Blues Rhythms You Can Use would be helpful before the rhythms book.
Blues You Can Use Guitar Chords is a good supplement to all of the other books, because it gives you the chord theory, lots of examples of chord shapes and voicings, and exercises to help you to begin to use the chords. I wrote it to accompany other areas of your study, and to be used over a longer period of time than the other 6 books.
Blues Licks You Can Use is another supplemental book which gives you lots of blues guitar licks and how and where to use them. It is intended to augment what you learn from the studies in the first two books (Blues You Can Use and More Blues You Can Use).
I hope that is helpful.
