Thanks for posting those Tony! One blew my mind, the other made a connection straight to my soul

Good stuff T. That Lucas Imbiriba is incredible. To pull off "Hotel California" as a solo guitar piece and keep it interesting blows my mind. Plus he doesn't over do the tapping and stuff like some of the modern acoustic players. Gabriella may look better than Lucas but she's not even in the same league.

I just wish the door would have opened and Gabriella would have been joined by Juliette for the second solo. What incredibly talented and inspired women, wow! Like the Gilmour solo above, this is a Hendrix cover Ms. Valduriez did about ten years ago. I'd say to cover a song is one thing, but to make it your own is a whole different story altogether... what do you think? Juliette Jade is awesome and a total babe. I have a couple of her albums from her Bandcamp. The song Abyssal is really good.

Juliettes's albums are indeed good, it shows she's a true artist, she's got not only instrumental, but also songwriter skills - an she has herown voice plus something to say. Why she hassn't landed a job as a hired gun with a major band yet is beyond me. If you check out her YT feed and give her cover Songs a listen, it's clear that she can play definitely anything that's to be played for such a gig and beyond, plus giving it her own spin… and yes she has the Looks to make it, convincing an superficial talent scout. A shame that such things still matter these days, but here we are… well, she probably prefers to do her own thing, anyway! BTW, I think Tommy holds Gabriella's playing in high regard... If this is the same Gabriella as in the Comfortably Numb video then I take back what I said earlier. She's definitely in the same league as Lucas Imbiriba.

Oh wow, I thought Gabriella was just playing in her bedroom like the rest of us, but there she is on stage with Tommy Emmanuel! Now I'm doubly impressed with the way she lets her technique serve the song, as opposed to the other way around.
Sophie Lloyd is another favorite of mine:
