Next two licks: Lick 18 over first 4 bars, Lick 22 over middle four bars. I've made a Guitar Pro rendering (with Lick 28 closing out the last 4 bars):
We'll call the due date Sunday, October 11. General consensus seems to be that these section 2 licks are more "useable" than the first section of Blues Licks You Can Use.

Halfway through, and Lick 18 is proving to be both a finger-buster and a head buster. The sort of half-note triplet feel (I guess that's what you'd call it)of the opening motif doesn't feel very natural yet, and the eighth-note triplet run in the second bar is physically difficult for me, mostly because of the 1/4-step bend on the first string C.
I used Lick 22 last week. It's tricky too, but starting to feel a little more comfortable after what was now the third week of having it in the daily rotation.

Here's my recording. I enjoyed lick 18 & 22 a lot. I tried turning up my amp volume - I think it helps a little.

Not real ambitious on my part this week. Turns out I'd used Lick 22 last time along with 28 to finish. Because lazy I used 28 again as well. So this is basically Lick 18 plus a re-take of the last 8 bars of my last posting (which includes 22, one of the assigned for this fortnight). My lack of ambition for the last 4 bars was mainly due to the fact I really had to put a lot of work into 18 to get it sounding at least in the ballpark. I thought my tone was interesting this time. It sounds a little chorus-y, though it shouldn't. The live guitar is just the clean channel of an amp with a overdrive pedal in front of it, and I did my usual add of a mid gain amp model pushed to the edge (identical reamp setup as my last several entries). Both the live and re-amped are pretty dirty by themselves, but they blend to sound somewhat cleaner. I suppose due to phase differences through the respective amp models. I suppose further that's why it sounds like there is a touch of a modulation effect on it, even though it's pretty dry. soundcloud.com/grampalerxst/blycu-18-22-28

Great second chorus and I thought the stuff you used to introduce and round out the first were more interesting than the two BLYCU licks assigned this time. I'd guess that's your effort studying BB King paying off.
I thought your prior recordings were just fine for what we're doing here. However, it's always good to turn the amp up louder!

I liked lick 28, looking forward to learning that one! I didn't notice that lick 28 was included for this round - I will include that next time.

I don't think 28 was officially included this time. I used it just because I used it last time and didn't have an opportunity to work up anything different. I think Bruce included it in the GP just to have something over that part of the chorus (and I think he used it last time as well). It is a nice familiar-sounding, almost stock phrase to close out a chorus, so is useful in that regard. I imagine it will officially make it as a "lick-of-the-fortnight" in due time.

Sorry to be draggin' in so late! Had to work this weekend, so not much guitar time, and certainly not much recording time, so I apologize about the video quality and the playing quality...
I haven't had time to put together (or even look at) the next challenge. Should be able to get it up tomorrow.
Nice job Joachim and Grampa! Well-played. Amp turned up definitely sounds better, J.

Sounds good to me Bruce. I liked the tone of the guitar, maybe because it was a little on the raw side. You seem like me maybe in that the licks in this section make a little more intuitive sense than some of those in Section 1. In that section it felt like a lot of work to place those licks into the setting, always felt like rhythmic tension. These tend to lock right in.

Bruce, I also enjoyed that.
Grampa, I feel exactly like you, in the way that a couple of the licks in Chap 2 put together sounds much more like a real solo.
