3 1/5 years ago Jack and I recorded a video of our cover of Magic Sam's "I Don't Want No Woman." It's just the three 12-Bar solos and what Sam played while singing (the comping and fills). There's no melody of the actual song. It could be any Blues song.
I cleaned up the tab with Guitar Pro 7 and included the Guitar Pro file in the zip file available for download. There's a link in the YouTube description to download the files.
If anybody is interested you can check it out here:

That's some good playing, gentlemen. I don't remember it's debut, must have been during one of my hiatuses. I'm not too familiar with Magic Sam's body of work.

Magic Sam is one of my all time favorite Blues guys. He died at age 31 in 1969 and only recorded 2 studio albums. So, a lot of people never heard of him. He played with his fingers only, but you'd swear from his sound that he was playing with a pick. I believe he was about to hit the big time with a move into Soul Music with either Motown or Stax, but he died suddenly of heart failure. Not only was he a great Blues guitarist he also had a great voice. Talented guy all around.
My favorite video of his showcasing his amazing ability to groove and captivate an audience:
PS. He borrowed Earl Hooker's guitar for this show.

That was such a fun project - good times So you gettin' back into a bit of blues again Phil? Yeah, but it's that Jazz Blues stuff. And this past week specifically on minor Blues. If you feel an urge to brush up on a jazzy walking bass line for a minor Blues in "C" we might be able to do something again in a month or two. No quick change in bar 2 and bars 9 and 10 do the bVI7 to V7 thing that's so typical in a minor Blues - in this case Ab7 in bar 9 and G7 in bar 10. I need more time to sort things out, but let me know if you'd be interested. I know you have a lot of other things you're working on right now.

I love anything minor key In a month or two then - I'll hopefully have the dust cleaned off the bass by then

Do you by any chance have Guitar Pro 7? Nevertheless, I'll be in touch soon with something you can hear.
