Bluesbruce mentioned in the post of Scrapper Blackwell's version of this blues classic that many probably only knew Clapton's version of this song from the Unplugged album.
EC had released a version of it on the Layla album with Duane Allman playing slide. If memory serves me correctly, it was the 1st song that was recorded with Duane on this project and most of his lines on this song were played backing Eric's vocals.

When I listen to Duane's great slide playing, I have to remind myself that he was only 24 when he was killed. He is still regarded as the greatest
