Hey all
I'm a forum wallflower from the old forum. I've been a huge advicate to the BYCU books. I was able to watch myself go from being an ok rhythm guitar to being a much more rounded player. I've started 'revisisting' blues you can use. I made it about half way though the first book before taking a Guitar Playing Hiatus a few years ago. On the website i saw that there was a product called 'Exploring the Blues' and wanted to see if anyone has any more information about it. I did an Amazon search but could not find anything about it.
Thanks in advance

Welcome back to the forum.
Exploring the Blues is compilation of various blues rhythm licks. I haven't looked at my copy of the book for quite a while but I think that there are about a hundred different exercises, covering the open position shuffle lick thru some jazzy blues progressions near the end of the book .
I've completed the book and its sitting somewhere with my other books, no longer needed. If you or anyone else would be interested, I would sell and ship it to someone for $12. Contact me with a private message

Hi Marc, If you haven't found it already, there is a page in the "Guest Lessons" area of this site with some sample lessons from "Exploring the Blues," including audio samples. I see now that it's not at all clear that they exist or how to get to them. I must remedy that. Meanwhile, you can find them here: EXPLORING SAMPLE LESSONSCheck it out. I think it's a pretty good sampling, showing you what to expect with the book/CD package. I hope that clears things up. JG
