Nice job at improv there, T-Bone, and good post above. It's obvious that you are putting lots of thought into this. I can certainly indentify with what Mick said, "...but it has always been a case of I will get into that when I get more skilled in the mechanics of playing." That's where I'm at right now and I need to change that way of thinking. However, I do think it's necessary to develop some basic skills before attempting to improv. For example, if you can't play a simple passage in proper time, then you shouldn't even consider jamming or improvising until you resolve that problem.

That was quite pleasant to listen to Tony, some very nice musical ideas in there. Nice variety in the licks as well.
