I hope you get a speedy recovery from you accident, Tbone.
My new year's resolution is to just keep playing regularly. It will be a busy year for me, so I will settle with a modest goal.
I do hope we have some success with a forum study group or activity in the new year, though.
Best wishes to all my friends here.
Joachim

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everybody! Tbone, hope you heal up soon. My New Year's resolution is to cut back on the adult beverages and start working out again - very light workouts since I've still got some odd aches and pains from when I was working out back in January or February. Can at least make an effort though lol. I'm up for some sort of study group or forum group project - probably won't have too much time to devote to it but I can make an effort on that as well

The blues is calling me back....just been browsing some Jeff McErlain Trufire courses I have, I'm amazed at how many courses I have downloaded and never even looked at!!!
Take care, Mick

Tbone, best wishes for a speedy and full recovery in the new year. Nice playing Mick!
Haven't thought too much about next year yet, at least as far as guitar is concerned. I'm probably going post my thoughts about how 2019 went for me on guitar sometime between Christmas and New Year's, and will probably talk about where I'm headed in 2020 at that time. For the most part, given the constraints I have to work with, I'm pretty happy with 2019 guitar-wise, except maybe that I wish my progress was somewhat more of a meteoric rise. (ever notice that's sort of a funny expression, since meteors "fall"?)
Anyway, wishes to all for joyful holidays and a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year.

Hauntingly beautiful Mick! Really hope you do more recording and posting here, we miss ya! I've got mixed feelings about my practice routine - on the one hand, I am getting some songs recorded which has always been my main goal. On the other hand, my technical skills have deteriorated significantly from the days when I was working on More Blues You Can Use. I just jump from one thing to another and that keeps me interested, and maintaining motivation is always the most important thing for me - I've taken too many 5 year breaks from playing in the past. Oh well, guess I'll just keep pluggin' along Didn't get any Christmas stuff recorded this year - maybe I'll stick that Nirvana song over on Facebook with a "Merry Christmas" on it and all my relatives will think I'm weird I spent two months getting used to fingerpicking on the 12 string for "Landslide", then went back to electric for a while, then started messing around on classical - too much change to ever get used to anything. So here's something from a couple years ago.
