I've been working a little on a FM song "Stop Messin Round" and plan to play the intro chorus at tonight's lesson.
I thought I'd sharing it here - at least I'll have that as backup in case of mental blackouts tonight.
And here's the BBC live recording I am using, much faster that what I'm comfortable with.

Sounding good, Joachim! Hope you don't have any "mental blackouts!"

I agree Technique and tone greatly improved. Do think it’s because of the lessons? I feel the lessons I have taking has made a big difference.

John is pointing out many things I would not otherwise have paid attention to. And with regular lessons I am less inclined to skip practice when I am lazy or tired - that's something to factor in as well. I don't feel comfortable showing up for a lesson unprepared, so I try to make at least a little progress before each lesson in the areas we're working on.

Nice, Joachim. Enjoyed the intonation on the bends/vibrato. There's a good amount of space in that one and nothing sounded rushed (one of my foibles is to get a little over anxious coming out of a rest).
