I didn't practice every day last week, but most days (the snow finally melted so now it's yard work season). I'm working on the last third of the solo for that "challenge" at the other site. Some fast stuff in there, it'll take a while to get up to speed. Haven't even started on all the little licks that go in between the vocals at the end. The last webinar is the 29th so I've still got some time. Finally built up some good calluses again lol. Those .011's on the Sheraton II take plenty of muscle to do a full step bend. Happy Easter everybody!

Think I got in at least an hour every day except Thursday and Friday, had really busy days at work plus my wife's car battery died, so only played 5 or 10 minutes before leaving for work on Thursday (when we discovered my wife's car was dead). Still working on Stetina's "Total Rock Guitar".

Happy Easter!
Like Jack, I also got a little side-tracked by yard-work. Snow is long gone here, almost summer weather this last weekend.
On the guitar I am working on Eight-Bar Boogie and the rhythm section for the next study. I also spend some time learning a few choruses of different Peter Green songs, for example "Jumpin' at Shadows", which is probably my favourite song by Fleetwood Mac. And I try to improvise at every practice-session as well, this is probably the longest stretch I've been keeping that promise.

I just got back to the US a couple of hours ago. Still have to get home to Charleston, SC. I fly space available on military cargo planes - uncomfortable but cheap. It's been 2 full weeks with no guitar. I'll get back to it ASAP. A break like this rejuvenates up your enthusiasm.

My finger repaired itself faster than expected. The cut from the jagged shearing edge of the aluminum foil box was under my fingernail and I guess the amount of "ouch!" and blood was disproportionate to the actual wound. I might have gotten 3 hours between Thursday and Saturday. Nothing too organized, and on a lark I wasted a little time trying to work out "Better Man" by Pearl Jam (don't ask me what overcame me there).

Happy Easter All! Last week was busy - Good Friday and Easter Sunday had me doing plenty. Saturday had me gardening, which essentially resulted in shaky hands so I couldn't play at all. Rest of the week was about 20-30 mins a day. However, this week has started well Still paying too much on courses at another site that is hosting Easter deals. I think i just keep hoping each new course will be "the one" that allows me to solo fluidly... man I wish I could so badly. It's really bugging me at the mo.
