Rich_Sky_test.mp3 (960.73 KB) well since its been too quite here asa rough example of what I have been working on in class, part of The sky is crying. Nowhere near polished, but a work in progress. Hopefully the file plays. Guitar is my strat elite, neck position i think.

Rich, that was great! It sounds like your lessons are really paying off - thanks for posting! Thanks, still pretty rough just started on this last week but I appreciate the feedback feels good to here I am progressing. Probably should try to record Floyd's blues I have it down much better. I think our principle goal is to build licks up, for reuse. I am struggling with which lick goes over which chord. Should have done this years ago, would be much further along.

Sounding good there, Rich. And your singing sounds almost like Albert King.

Sounding really good Rich - your timing is getting really good, and a lot of that stuff sounded like the timing was fairly complex. Congratulations! Only problem is I don't seem to be getting any video - just audio???

Thanks for all of the positive comments, timing wasn't spot on but pretty close. I imported the original song from an mp3 noted that the lead was recorded on one channel so i was able to pan hard to one channel, for backing. I had a friend over last Friday for a Jack Daniels tasting and jam session he said my timing was getting better also. Again thanks for the positives!!!
